Our approach is based on person-centred care, and we work with individuals and their family to co-produce plans for care and support. We work together to create the right care to meet individual needs.
The types of focus depends on the individual, and we will spend time getting to know people we support and setting goals in partnership to progress in areas such as mental health and emotions, developing and building practical skills and providing day-to-day support, advice, guidance and companionship to live independently.
Our priority is ensuring that the people we support feel secure and fulfilled and can strengthen relationships with family, friends and their community.
Our services are focused on working with young people and adults over 18 years old. We are experienced in working with children’s services to manage successful transitions into our services.
We deliver supported accommodation and housing support services, and operate on a ‘Core & Cluster’ model.
Yes, we provide 24/7 support with support staff being available day and night.
Our Support Stories
I decided that I would like to take a flying lesson. I was supported to research companies and the prices of taking flying lessons both on line and over the phone.
A couple of months ago, we decided to put on a play, “The Wizard of Oz” at my day centre in Haddington. I was cast as the Wicked Witch of the West.
Our Staff Stories
Many years ago, I came to work in the care industry through a number of personal experiences. I looked after my grandmother at a young age, as she suffered through cancer and, although difficult, took to caring naturally.
